CSR Commitment

Environmental Responsibility

SLAT has been ISO 14001 certified since 2007. Its products are developed in accordance with strict eco-design specifications, aimed at reducing the environmental footprint of the products during both their manufacturing and operational phases.

Following COP21, and mindful of the global challenges posed by climate change, SLAT embarked on a process of continuously reducing its carbon footprint. The NETZEROproject reflects a strong commitment on the part of management. It encourages every employee to adopt a socially responsible approach in their daily work.

Between 2019 and 2025, SLAT’s carbon emissions decreased by 23%, while our value creation per ton of CO2 emitted increased by 28%, and our Scope 1 and 2 emissions fell by 87%, from 61 tons to less than 8 tons.

Corporate Social Responsibility

SLAT operates in accordance with social values and upholds ethical business practices for its customers. Since 2015, SLAT has been opening its workshops to people facing employment challenges, with the aim of helping them re-enter the workforce.

The company supports the training of the next generation through apprenticeships, work-study programs, and support provided to IAE Lyon (University School of Management).

SLAT participates in French (AFNOR), European (CENELEC), and international (IEC) standards committees focused on personal and building safety. SLAT also contributes to various professional associations in France and Germany.

A recognized commitment to CSR: ECOVADIS GOLD

SLAT has been recognized as one of the top companies for its commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), earning a Gold medal in its second year of participation in the EcoVadis.

SLAT’s progress in its social commitment, its social policy, and respect for human rights have earned the approval of the auditors of this renowned assessment. And of course, SLAT’s carbon policy decision-making tool, which was audited and approved by PKF Arsilon in accordance with the international GHG Protocol, made all the difference. The two pillars—Ethics and Responsible Procurement Policy—rounded out SLAT’s score, earning it the Gold medal that recognizes the top 5 companies for their CSR policies.
